Johann Arens stammte aus B\u00fcdesheim, seine Frau aus \u201cLejtzen op de Mallenbach\u201d. Die Familie Arens\/Leitzen hatte zuvor mehrere Jahre im Ort zur Miete gewohnt. Ihre zahlreichen Kinder sind Leo, Daniel und Gertrud (ein Zwillingspaar), Jakob, Anton, Johanna und Alwine, verheiratete Frau Assmuth.
