Diese Ehe blieb kinderlos. Nach mehreren Jahren des Witwerdaseins heiratete er Susanna, geborene Meyers aus Nimshuscheid. Aus dieser Ehe Flo\u00df\/Meyers ging die Tochter Elfriede hervor. Nikolaus Flo\u00df hatte sich schon in jungen Jahren der Musik verschrieben.
